Na Maka O Pu’uwai Aloha’s Hula program is where we found our start.

In our Hula program students will learn their hula position, basic steps, different kahiko (ancient) and ‘auana (modern) dances and the background and meaning of those dances. They will learn to perform with various implements and transitions to different songs. Most importantly, they will learn how to be good examples for their other hula sisters and brothers and how to be confident in any aspect of life, not just while on stage. Placement is dependent upon age and/or skill level.

‘Uwehe, ‘Ami and slide right into Hula at Na Maka!

Unfortunately due to an increasing demand, our Hula program will now be on a waitlist only status indefinitely.  As we have openings, we will call on a first come first served basis to place students into available classes.  To be placed on our waitlist please call our business office at (808) 678-8884.
